This is an interesting design for drop steps for are rear step bumper on a commercial truck body. Folded up and pinned when not needed (most of the time), pull the pins and reposition it when needed. I like the grip strut, keep-the-mud-off-the-bumper feature--the non-slip-grip-tread-and-keep-it-clean-at-the-same-time feature. Simple design and simply effective and while they are stored in the up position, there is still center access to the body. It all works.
