Yesterday, we showed you this body and talked about the Knapheide body with the TSR enclosure, BedSlide and more. Today, let's look at the custom rack. Most racks are flat across the top, and notice that this one is curved. It is primarily used as a ladder rack and to keep the ladders up and out of the way and secured, this rack has two drop-down sections very easily operated resident muscle-person, Becky Wymore. You can see that she must work out since this is a big heavy ladder. . . Well, she does make light work of it with the piston assembly along with the leverage of the removable bar to lower and raise the ladder.
Not only is this a very functional ladder rack, but is great looking as a result of the curve as well. Notice one other thing too: the rear lights including the hi-mount center tail light are all readily visible from the rear. The rack doesn't hide the hi-mount light and the tail lamps in the body make for better rear visibility as well.
